Bahamasair making it easier for brides to have Bahamas destination wedding
Bahamasair the national fly carried of the Bahamas is making it easier for brides to have a Bahamas Destination wedding with the opening of four new routes into Freeport, Grand Bahama from US airports.
The new air routes mean that bride and grooms along with their wedding guest now have more options for getting to Freeport, with twice weekly flights from Baltimore/Washington, MD (BWI), Louisville, KY (SDF), Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU) and Richmond, VA(RIC) on board 737-400s air crafts operated by its US partner Xtra Airways. The 737-400s air craft are designed to carry 150 passengers, with 138 coach seats and 12 first class seats.
With this new partnership Bahamasair not only introduces four new flight routes into the Bahamas but also launches a new base for the company in Freeport.
In commenting on the new base, Glenn Ferguson, resident wedding planner and wedding officiant at Bahamas Destination Wedding said, “This is an exciting development for not only tourism on Grand Bahama but also for destination weddings in the Bahamas as it allows more opportunities for connect to the Bahamas. We are looking forward to the seeing out family island business increase as a result of these flights.”
