Katie Price’s recently  released video of her Sandals Bahamas wedding pictures reveals that all was fun in the Bahamas despite her public spat with the resort over the destination wedding.

Katie accused the resort of

An anticipated 100 million persons viewed the Bahamas in its featured Superbowl commercial last evening, giving the world a taste of what the Bahamas has to offer.

The  commercial which featured celebrity Illusionist and Musha Cay Island owner David Copperfield,  Bahamian supermodel Shakara Ledard, school children on the island of Exuma and Bahamian National Basketball Association (NBA) star Rick Fox captured the beauty and pristine of the Bahamas as its narrator proclaimed..

Its been said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Well behold. Behold, water so blue it seems to merge with the sky above.  Behold, sand so soft it’s like every step is a walk among the clouds. Behold, natural beauty that soars above the sea and plunges far below. Behold, smile so wide they seem to stretch from the top of Little Abaco to the base of Great Inagua and across the face of an entire nation. Behold the islands of the Bahamas ”

 According to the Ministry of Tourism the 60 seconds commercial spot which shot on locations in Exuma and aired in the Florida market was designed to promote the entire Bahamas.

The Bahamas also had another connection to this year’s Superbowl as the Superbowl champ Baltimore Raven’s was the previous team of Bahamian Footballer,  Wide Receiver Devard Darling,  so most persons in the Bahamas are happy with the results.

Sandals Resorts has offered a refund to Katie Price after she publicly accused the resort for almost ruining her wedding in the Bahamas.  However, Sandals says the refund is

on condition she does not choose our resorts for any future weddings or stays.”

The Bahamas wedding which was Katie’s third nuptial was held at the luxurious Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort and Spa on Cable Beach, which she described as being

more like a smelly old flip-flop.”

Details and pictures of the wedding in the Bahamas were carried exclusively by The Sun, a daily national tabloid newspaper published in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

In the article “Katie Price: My honeymoon from hell” by Sharon Hendry and published on January 25, 2013, Katie said of her Sandals Bahamas wedding:-

that while her wedding pictures showed a beach “if you looked the other way there were ugly skyscrapers”  that the sunbeds used by the resort were plastic, their wedding tent “looked like it came out of B&Q” and the atmosphere at the resort was “more 18-30” than royal.

Sandals said it was “disappointed Ms Price was not happy with her stay” and added “As a gesture of goodwill we are willing to offer her a refund on condition she does not choose our resorts for any future weddings or stays.”

Without an international profile, the resort team were oblivious of Ms. Price’s fame and welcomed her with the award-winning service given to all its guests. Once at the resort Ms. Price did identify herself to her dedicated Wedding Manager and explained her profile in the UK. The team were thoroughly understanding and accommodating of Ms. Price’s request for privacy, offering use of the resort’s private offshore island, Sandals Cay, for her wedding ceremony and the duration of her stay. However, Ms. Price declined this offer, and against the Sandals team’s advice opted instead to hold the ceremony on the public beach where she was photographed by paparazzi.”

Hi Kathy lee and Hoda! Thanks for giving people this chance!

My husband and I got married last October 29th. It was pretty much the only day it snowed all winter and on that day we had a northeaster!

I was 4 months pregnant, we thought we get married before I really started showing and before it stared snowing. But instead we had that huge storm!

Between guests and people that catered the wedding everyone was getting in accidents or running late or couldn’t make it. No one could get there to let the florist in or the girl who did our cake. We we’re supposed to have an outdoor wedding and have our reception in a very nice but small venue.

We had to have the ceremony inside and I had to walk down a pretty much non existent isle, by myself! because only I could fit! my mother was sitting so close to me during the ceremony I could have sat on her lap!

We didn’t get to take any outdoor pictures and took all family pictures in the same tiny room we got married in.

Overall I married my best friend and we have a beautiful baby girl now. I would love to be able to do it over again and be able to enjoy it and not be so stressed out. thanks again! Nicole:)
